As the largest vintage rug we’ve ever had the privilege of curating for a collection, Vivienne defies description. Aged at approximately 80 years old, the colors, texture, and design motif of this hand-knotted beauty pay homage to traditional Turkish design from the Konya region. Vivienne features hues of Robin’s egg blue, brown, and cream with a dusty nude pink background encircling the center medallion. Vivienne also displays a small spattering of white twisted knots throughout. These white knots are part of the rug’s foundational warp threads and are an authentic component of hand-knotted rugs. Her size and color make her highly coveted by collectors. Vivienne measures 9.5 x 13 feet and is comprised of 80% wool and 20% cotton.
